Fake Nike Shoes Peddler Sentenced in Worcester County

SNOW HILL, Md.- A man has been given a 90-day suspended sentence after he pleaded guilty Friday in Worcester County District Court to possession with intent to distribute 52 pairs of counterfeit Nike "Air Force 1" shoes.

Tito Antyone Belcher, 38, of Plymouth, N.C. was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $200.

The 52 pairs of shoes were ordered to be donated to the Diakonia Charity of Ocean City. Diakonia provides emergency and transitional housing for men, women and families on the Lower Shore of Maryland.

Share | FlagThe shoes should be destroyed. I can't imagine Nike is ok with giving them away yet keeping them in circulation.
